Two Updates at Tripeedo

We've recently improved Tripeedo with a couple of new features:

More Airports
We've almost doubled the number of airports that Tripeedo hooks into, which means you'll be able to find great airfares to even more destinations.

British Dates
Tripeedo now accepts dates in the British format (day first, then month), a feature requested very frequently by our friends across the pond.

We'll be adding even more features in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned!

Today we're announcing some major new features at tripeedo.com to offer an even faster, better flight search experience.

Tripeedo launched recently with a simple goal -- to provide a better, easier way for users to perform travel searches. We already took a big step in this direction with our innovative, intuitive search bar, letting users easily enter details of their trips just by typing. Today, we're adding some great new features to make airfare searches even easier:

• Simultaneous Searching - Starting today, you can use Tripeedo to launch a flight search with as many providers as you want, all with just one click. Just enter your flight details once, then select as many sites as you want. Tripeedo will open your results in new windows so you can compare them side-by-side. Or, launch them one at a time if you prefer -- Tripeedo makes it easy.

• Airlines! Now you can use Tripeedo to search for airfares from the websites of most major U.S. airlines. One of the most frustrating things about other travel search sites is that you can often find cheaper fares by going directly to the airlines' sites. That's because airlines only make certain fares available to the big travel sites, while keeping a selection of fares to themselves. With Tripeedo, you can search the airlines' sites directly, meaning you won't have to worry about missing those great fares!

• More Airfare Providers - Tripeedo originally hooked into just a few major travel sites like Expedia, Kayak, Orbitz, and Travelocity to help you find the lowest possible fares. Today we're adding more, like Priceline, Farecast, and STA Travel, bringing our total selection of airfare providers to 20 -- and we'll be adding more soon!

• Recent Searches - Tripeedo now saves your recent searches for you, so you can keep track of the searches you've done and relaunch them with a single click.

• Widgets and Gadgets - as if that weren't enough, we're also launching widgets for iGoogle and for the distribution site Widgetbox. Users can now put Tripeedo on their iGoogle homepages, their blogs, their websites... pretty much anywhere!
